Señorío de Montanera 100% Organic Iberian Acorn-fed Ham

The Señorío de Montanera 100% Iberian acorn-fed organic ham comes from organic farming and livestock farming, based on 100% natural resources that help preserve the environment.

The 100% organic Iberian pigs are raised on certified organic pastures, where they are fed with natural and organic feed before entering the pasture, when they will only consume acorns and natural resources from the pasture. Its production is 100% natural, without artificial additives or preservatives; which entails much more exhaustive and artisanal care than traditional Iberian hams. A long aging in natural cellars dug into rock achieves a slow and measured curing; refining the nuances of its aroma and flavour.

When cut, the colour is slightly darker, as a result of the absence of nitrites in its production. Its flavour is smooth and natural, with a perfect balance between savoury and sweet (never salty), full of nuances that evoke the purest pasture of Extremadura.

The piece has three different seals: the one belonging to the quality standard of the Iberian pig that identifies the piece as 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham, the one from Señorío de Montanera to control its traceability, and the third with the logo of organic food certified by the European Union.
